You need to be  careful about how you do the joins, and the structural bits would best be the injection bits.

But why not just build the Monogram kit as is? It'd be a lot less work than the vacform and it'd probably look better in the long run too.
I was dry testing the Airfix C-130H fuselage and it's a close fit to that of the
B-36 at the front end. The ramp could be used on the B-36. Convair did a few sketches of a transport version of the B-36 before building the XC-99.
The the wings from the Revell Airbus A400M are a good fit if you add the engines from the Airfix BAe Nimrod to them and the Atlas main landing gear could fit with a bit bodging. The T-tail might fit as well, which leaves me with a pile of parts to use.
