Same company has issued a load of alternative Walrus schemes, but in 1/72. Given the new Airfix kit is 1/48 am I missing something ?

Nope they scaled down their 48th stuff

Right. Only 3 kits I know of in 1/72 ; Old Airfix and Matchbox and recent Valom. Just seems strange without a new kit, but as they already had the artwork it would hav emade it a lot easier I suppose.

There is a Hobby Boss kit, a couple of Planet kits, and didn't Dragon do one in 1:72 (although it may be out of production at the moment).
