I was just looking for Halloween-related stickers or decals on Ebay and found myself presented with a lot of nail-art decals. These seem to be water-slide decals that are applied to fingernails as a temporary design. They are, by definition, small, but as mascots, pinups and symbols on 1/72nd scale aircraft they look like an interesting source.

Watch out for "3D" stickers that have depth and probably arn't suitable.

Do an ebay search on "nail art decals" and have a browse.

ive been experimenting with nail decals on aircraft for a while now, and have a conciderable stock from aliexpress as i can get these very cheap.
these are perfect for holiday themed models and some make excellent "Area 88-style" emblems.

I've just googled it and there's all sorts of stuff to that might be useful, nice tip.

I've sometimes wondered about temporary tattoos, but I've never been sure if they'd work..
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I used the Poppies on a 1/148 Hawker Hurricane commissioned build. The model was painted gloss white and after the transfers applied, a coat of clear gloss applied
There's a piccy of the finished build on my blog and Facebook page
I'm thinking of using the Harry Potter transfers on my ' Alternative Hogwarts Express'.

Yes, they do.  I've used some on a model car.  They are fragile and need protecting with clear before much handling is done.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
