Looking for a 1/72 kit that has a complete Derwent, Welland or J-31 jet engine.  Want the whole engine.  My poor victim has no idea about the transplant planned  ;)

I am about to pull the trigger on the Cyber Hobby Meteor Mk 1 as it looks nice and comes with 2 complete engines but I have never built a kit from them.  Any other kits?

The Cyber Hobby Meteor is a really nice kit, the one I have is just behind my desk so within about two feet of me. Do you want a couple of pics of the sprues ?

Does anyone know if Cyber Hobby is associated with Dragon, only the boxing I have says it's a Golden Wings Series kit and I seem to remember Dragon having a Golden Wings Series too.

A picture of the engine sprues would be great Kitnut!  Thank you.

Thank you! Impressive detail indeed.  Think I will order that kit.

I'm going to try and backdate one of the ones I have to a earlier version. I've read an interesting article in Air-Britain's AeroMilitaria a few issues ago, where a proposal was made to install a Whittle engine into the cabin area of an Avro Anson. This was before any of Whittle's engines had flown and it was to test that the engine would run in flight (something that wasn't known up to then)
