I haven't the faintest idea what you're on about, but the models look really well done.

Traveller was one of the first table-top role-playing games back in the seventies: like Dungeons and Dragons but in a classic sci-fi setting, basically. It's been through a bewildering saga of different companies, authors, game systems, re-launches, re-boots and re-imaginings over the years, but it's still going. The original publishers (Games Designers' Workshop) were pretty generous in granting licences for other companies to do complimentary projects, and Steve Jackson Games got a licence (which I think they still hold) to adapt the game to their 'GURPS' universal rules system, so there is now a VAST quantity of material out there documenting this universe.

MartG's models are all of either 'classic' designs which came pre-generated with the game as examples of what 'normal' spacecraft looked and flew like, or variants published in associated magazines.

I just found all my Traveler books ... a mix of original, Traveler 2300, and Traveler Rebellion ...  I also have the GURPS book for it, and some other stuff that kinda applies that I bodge onto the game as I go.  :)  I love that game - better than D&D, IMHO,  if only that there is no magic - if you get yourself into a situation then you have to get yourself out with only yourself and what you have - kinda like real life in that respect.  :)

Excellent!

I like the way you've done the tubular small craft as flattened oval section rather than circular: strikes me as much more practical as just as good pressure vessels in practice. People tend to over-emphasise the importance of pressure-vessel shapes in 'realistic' spacecraft: they're not submarines, they only have to stand a 14psi pressure difference even if you're running at a full 1 atmosphere cabin pressure (which you don't need to do).

It's funny how the definition of 'battlecruiser' changed from the 1250 ton Kinunir (which was from a very early game module) to 200,000 tons and counting by the time of High Guard, isn't it?  ;D Mind you, real-life wet navies are just as guilty of using and abusing terminology, so perhaps it's appropriate...
