During the waining of the Galactic Civil War, the conflict had finally reached Outer Rim planets, like Earth, or "Terra" as it was known by both the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance. Both sides sought to influence the events of World War II. The Rebellion was the first to arrive on Terra, by pure chance. The Empire followed shortly after. Certain manufacturers manufactured Rebel or Imperial equipment. Brewster built B-wings, Ryan Aeronautical built X-Wings, Hawker built Y-wings, and Armstrong-Whitworth built the A-wings.

The RAF loved the "new" to them equipment, especially the A-wings. As their American counterparts loved the X-wing.

Project is a Bandai 1/144 A-wing fighter in RAF livery with invasion stripes.
