Well I'm in no way a 'chop-and-change' whiffer but that idea is weirdly appealing. It's a shame I don't have any more 1/450 scale 747s!  ;D (and won't have ....ever!!)

Neither am I until I started on my Whirlwind V and I don't know how many times I've uttered the emboldened part of that sentence  ;D

So here we at last, with thanks to Dizzy for the original one-liner inspiration and to Kit for the excellent decals - any poorness in the final outcome is due to the modeller and not the material supplied! ;D

Oh to be whiffing again :-(

PR19_Kit

That turned out pretty darn well, even though I so myself.     ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's looking odd and sexy at the same time. I wonder how this would look (even photoshopped) on a real life airfield?

Makes me wonder about a "hemped" entry of "something else" for the GB, too.

Hard to tell how small it is from the pics.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

If it helps to repeat an earlier post - the model comes out at 157 mm (just over 6 inches long) which I think is about a third of the length of a 1/144 scale 747 ? (if I got my maths right?)

It's a very near match for the 1/72nd Fiat Finch!  ;D

That worked out really well mate
