Hello All,

My friend Google hasn't given much information on this "swept wing variant of the F4". Does anyone out there have any information on this one? I have a Frog F4 calling out for something fanciful.

As I've said elsewhere, I'm stuck in the Middle East for another couple of months but I'm looking forward to getting home and trying to bring some ideas to life.

Robert

P.s. I have a fuselage from an F8, don't know what the manufacturer is. Limited run injection by the look of it. The wings and tail unit are kicking around in the bone yard. Also, lots of Matchbox spares and Frog bits and pieces.
If this is Upper Silesia, one can only wonder what Lower Silesia is like.

Info on the delta-wing Meteor, P.262, in 'The Gloster Meteor', Shacklady, Doubleday 1963.

Wingspan: 43'
Length: 44.5'
Height: 8.6'
Max speed: 565 mph at sea level
Combat radius: 675 miles w/drop tanks

The actual F. Mk.6 was a project that led to the F.8, according to Shacklady
it never left the drawing board. In the drawings it has a standard F.4 short
wing, long nacelle Derwents, an F.8 like fuselage and E.1/44 tail assembly.

Two of the delta/swept projects are as shown in the drawings.
Something along the lines of the P.300 would probably be the
simplest to build.

Cheers, Jon
