How I would like your eyesight  ;D

Amazing work
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

;D ;D Thanks! My eyesight ain't what it used to be. The optivisor comes in handy here. I'm actually wearing it at all times. When I think back to 10 years ago when I could do this kind of detailing in 72 scale it makes me feel  :o

I've always had poor/bad eyesight back from when I was a kid. The UK lads have seen the thickness of my lenses and can confirm that  ;D

I do wear an optivisor, but surprisingly lately I've found for really close work I'm better with just my natural "short sight". The optometrist did explain it to me, but I'm afraid it went way over my head  ;)

I feel sorry for today's generation glued constantly to their mobiles etc. All that blue light is not good for you at all. :-\

Oh, I'm partially deaf in one ear as well, which can be useful at times

Agree that blue light is bad for the eyes. I also think that modeling is much better for the brain than hobbies involving a screen but that just my opinion.

Technology is progressing fast, I'm sure in a few years or perhaps a decade or 2 they'll have bionic peepers for us that'll make the 6 mil $ man jealous, just wait and see (pun intended).

What ear are u deaf in? My advice is to keep idiots on that side and your friends on the other.  ;D

Actually the first 'blue' daylight-temperature bulbs I encountered were for sale in a knitting shop, 20+ years ago.  Now all the new housing developments in my area are fitted with 6500K daylight bulbs at completion.  It just becomes natural after a couple of weeks and visiting friends who use 'yellow' lighting bulbs feels so unnatural and claustrophobic. And everything has the wrong colour!

After all here in the UK we very rarely see a golden Sunset, usually they are blue-grey which matches nicely with the interior lighting.

Apparently, according to the article I read, it's specifically the blue light given off by phones etc, especially at night which isn't good for your eyesight.
