This is only a 'what if' in the sense of 'what if I won the lottery' (I'd be able to buy the real one...), but I'm so pleased I have to show it anyway.
I've been "working" on it for 10 years, on and off. Some problem would crop up and I'd put it aside until I knew how to solve it. The first attempt at painting the body was a disaster, so I spent several years learning how to spray-paint. The floorpan was warped, making it near-impossible to assemble. Etc. But it's done now, oh yes!

The car is a Jaguar XJ-S, tuned by TWR. They modified the suspension and transmission, souped up the engine (380 bhp, up from the standard car's 295) and added a nice bodykit. Arguably the best XJ-S variant ever.
