A little weathering done this weekend as the fiddly bits and bits that go Bang! are getting ready. 

Some exhaust staining airbrushed on, followed by pastel dust for some variation between lean white exhaust and dark sooty rich exhaust.  It doesnt show too well in the pic, but I'm happy with it. 



And of course the only time big radials don't leak oil is when they are out of oil...so a little streaking underneath.  The centerline drop tank it suitably filthy too. 

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

All Done!  Quite a nice little kit.  I enjoyed the one so much I ordered an A-1J to go with it at some point. 









So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
