Okay, pics.

First off, the body halves. The white line is the packer to make the belly pan as wide as the nose panel... :banghead: The upside of this problem is that it makes the body just that bit wider so that the oil-drum fuel tank now fits. Filler cap moved to the same position as the old one. The brown rectangle is the new, enlarged engine-cover 'dishing' (done so that racing numbers fit on it). Not sure if it comes across, but I've also carved/sanded all the 'rivets' off the outside of the body panels.

Left-hand side of the engine. Extended fan shaft to make the fan belt line up. Fan belt from Tamiya tape. Cylinder head 'loaf' removed, distributor scratch-built and spark plugs added. These are 'token' items rather than excruciatingly accurate ones, since they're barely visible anyway. I did consider making better spark plugs from different lengths of microtube, but then I decided that life is too short...

Right side of the engine. Original exhaust bottom loop removed and one right-angle bend of it refitted, turned outwards. Silencer and 90 deg outlet made from Evergreen and a part found in the spares box. The header pipe enters the silencer below the top, in order to step the silencer outboard around the sump flange. Middle branch of the intake manifold removed, carb added from Evergreen and spares box bit. Blu-tack temporary, since the exhaust isn't glued on yet.

Not in the photos is the seat. The white strip in the belly pan means that it's mounting is no longer central, but since it's too wide anyway, I just sanded the other side a bit smaller so that it has the same gap both sides. I did consider making the seat cushion a bit more detailed, but then I'm putting a figure in it which will obscure almost all of it so why bother?
