Meinen herren, I present you the Über Reindeer.

In our quest for total globe domination, our fellow Nazi scientists have engineered this new potent weapon.

It has teeth to claw through enemy soldiers.  A special electric apparatus (top-secret) on the horns.  Two missiles to destroy enemy fortifications.  A remote-controlled turret to defeat enemy aircrafts.

It also has an helmet, because it looks cute with it.  :dum:

It was modified from the standard Santa Claus Reindeer Mk.I.

Ollie, that's just twisted !

I love it !

But, you've got some serious issues you need to work out with yourself.

And i think it looks more like a donkey, a dancing donkey at that !

Or, maybe Snoopy got into Chuck's steroids again !

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Haha, good ones guys!

This drawing came out of an argument between me and a friend who swore that reindeers weren't caribous.  I was saying that they were, that in Europe they call caribous reindeers.

Hence my interpretation of the beast to kick hers!

Ah yes, the age old problem, discussing wildlife distribution using common names! Now you understand why scientists and dedicated naturalists prefer the latin binomials. It sounds elitist at first, but you soon realise that it make things clearer. So if you want to do any info searches on the Reindeer/Caribou use the term "rangifer tarandus". You get the same problem with the Moose. In Europe it's called an Elk, totally different from our Elk, which is also sometimes called a Caribou.

Compounding the felony is the whole Christmas art community, which usually depicts Santa's Reindeer by illustrating the White-tailed deer, Odocoileus virginianus.

Don't get me started on that whole friggin' red nose thing.  <_<

Now wait and see if retro weighs in.  ^_^

Yeap, the Elk (Élan in French) is rather smaller than a Moose.

But moose meat is oh, so tasty....
