The original plan for my Texan fell through due to it being smaller than all my USCG decals, so sometime soon I'll get a 1/72 Texan. This is a new plan.

The kit itself is a Valom 1/144 AT-6G Texan. It's going to be a painting whiff, lol, with an improved propeller. The propeller came from a 1/144 Sweet Hurricane Mk.I, with it's wider and longer twin blade and it's pointed cap, instead of the kit supplied propeller and cap.

So the scheme is a Green/British Racing Green camouflage with a Hellblau underside. Decals include two 1/350? F-14A tail codes, cause they're my initials (A.J.) with a skull and crossbones, it'll also have racing numbers from a Testors vessel of unknown scale (31, but switched to make 13), US Star and Bars roundels, and it's nickname "TEX" cause it's from an N-Scale Graffiti set. Debating on skull and crossbones wing decals keeping in theme with the tail codes.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Well assembly has started, and the fit of the wings to the fuselage is horrendous! Greenstuff to the rescue... *Groans*
