Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all are well.
I treated myself yesterday, and bought a kit I have been looking at for many years, the planet models henschel hs P 89. As soon as I saw it I knew that it could be a modern close support/C.O.I.N. bird, with turbo prop engines. I have not built anything by planet, and haven't read any reviews on their stuff, which is not like me to just buy something made from resin, as I have been bitten before. Has anyone got any experience with their kits, are they relatively easy enough to build?.
I will be heavily modifying mine with add on bits from styrene kits, most notably the weapons. The gun will be an M61 from an F-14, pylons will probably be scratch built, and the landing gear could get updated too. A wrap around colour scheme is looking favourable too. Any tips on building one of these kits will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I've built a few Planet kits Chris and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. The one's I've built haven't caused me any problems, indeed I've done a couple of One Week Builds

I have only built one Planet Models kit and that was the DeH 108 Swallow.
This was my first ever complete resin model and it was a delight to work with.
Of course it got Whiffed, see here :
