Rebel Blockade Runner Mod

So, as I'm a Star Wars Geek, I had to do a Corellian CEC CR-90 Corvette, or more commonly known as the Rebel Blockade Runner, consular corvette, etc.

Anywho, there are so many conversions and customizations available, and I decided to make my own.

During the Galactic Civil War, both the Galactic Empire and Rebel Alliance were trying to figure out the best way to protect their respective capital ships, not that the Rebels had many. One enterprising Rebel officer, realised that the Corellian Corvette, was an optimal platform for an anti-snubfighter vessel. He removed the 4 (two to each side) turbolasers mounted to the port and starboard sides of the hull. And in their place he mounted 4 quick firing triple laser cannon turrets. It proved devastatingly effective against TIE Bombers and TIE fighters. The vessel was christened "Thunderstrike".

So, I'll get pictures posted eventually. But the main hull has a basecoat.

wicked! I for one am looking forward to seeing what you do with it. I'm guessing your using the Bandai kit? I have one too which will be receiving a not-so-usual paint job to it one day very soon.
Have you got a scheme in mind other than the usual white and red? I keep thinking blue and yellow might be a good combination to use and would go with it if I hadn't already chosen other colours

Syk, yes, it is the Bandai kit. I am base-coating it with Light Ghost Gray and I'll be using all the grays in my inventory. The highlight colors are going to be Grimy Black and Dark Green (similar to British Racing Green).
