Thanks guys - I'm sorry for the delay in posting my gratitude

There are a number of things I would do differently if I was to do it again, but I will fix up the canopy one day. I probably should've done a better job of it all round, but this was literally just a bit of experimental fun for me. My F-22 on the other hand was a serious job but I kept screwing up the paint work. I think I'm up to attempt #4 and still having issues.  :banghead:

I can assure you, what I did was nothing special or tricky - if I can do it anyone can!  :thumbsup: I just used sheet styrene and sanded down the edges etc. The flaps are also strip styrene.
