Hi guys

This is the latest machine off my work bench - Revell's BMW DTM done as a street machine. It's a hard to find now kit and I'm sure a few hard core car nuts have groaned at what I've done to it, but I like it. Its Tamiya Clear Red over Alclad Stainless Steel. I love the look myself but I leave it for you to decide.

Next car up will be Tamiya's new NSX with LB Worx Body Kit (once I've built it that is)

Thanks for looking

Awesome!

The 'Vette, too!

Double awesomeness! 8) 8)

And the colour is fantastic!

I wonder what Tamiya X-19 Smoke would look like instead of clear red?

Tremendous finish on her
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That's a very nice (and cool) color effect, came out very well.

sykotik

thanks guys. I have to admit, I am pretty happy with it

Color me impressed.  However, those ground effects wouldn't last a half hour here in New Jersey, as our state flower blooms alongside the highways

Very nice effect with the paint! I too would like to see the smoke's affect on the stainless steel, along side the clear green and clear blue.
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

LOL - It wouldn't even last 5 minutes on Melbourne roads either. I had a mate once say you need a 4WD just to get around on the roads, and in the same breath, he said the roads are like they are because of 4WD's

Well, I have just started the new Tamiya NSX which I was planning on using the same method except with Clear Blue, so you'll see what it's like soon enough :)
Mind you, Smoke would also be quite cool too. Hard choice

Captain Canada

Very cool. Looks great beside the Vette.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Love the build and the paint job on the cars - both are well past my skill base

Regarding the flowers along the New Jersey roadside, these blossoms have an attractive symmetrical form. Also we are advised to plant colourful plants in a block. We can see the block-of-colour planting here which demonstrates well the merit of this style of planting. I think its looks particularly effective - the texture , the form and the colour. Hats off to the local authority who put so much effort and planning into this colour sculpture. Pity the high speed traffic in the background appears oblivious to such a great display.

thanks for sharing.
