The old SMER one is the Merit kit, that went through Artiplast (with a side trip to Heller) before arriving at SMER:

This has made me realise my xmas tree is missing a Fairey. I need to scratch up a 1/288 Rotodyne before next year...

Why 1/288? Why not 1/144 there is a kit of the Rotordyne in this scale. It is one of the additional subjects given in the Anigrand kit of the Sentinel R1.
