Junkers Ju-389

I'd never heard of the Ju-389 before seeing your pics Tom, and it's certainly an amazing machine. It seems that it's a good thing they DIDN'T manage to build it!

Actually the designation 389 is my imagination, although the RLM number 8-389 was assigned to Junkers but is was not used.
The design was called EF-132. You can find some info on it when you google that.

I have this kit in my stash and who knows, if I get some experience with resin kits maybe I will give it a go.

My plan was to do it in Soviet markings after the war.

Looking at her more closely, she's got a very B.52 looking tail ? Did Boeing get the plans to her one wonders ?

Well a large part of the Junker's Design Office ended up in the Soviet Union post war, so it's more than possible.

Thankyou  for the info  Tom, I  am still wary of  resin kits  mainly due to my  bad fingers, but I  do like this. I had a look on Antares  web page, but  they didn't  have  any, one  might turn up.
