As the title says I'm looking for a sheet of 1/72 Aeronvale F8 Crusader transfers, or a sheet that includes some. Just need to know a maker and product number if possible, preferably one that's readily available.

After spending half an hour on Hannants using various "key words" I've given up  :banghead:

Thanks in advance

Chris

The Hasegawa Crusader had them in the original release.  I have one of these but as it dates from '79 I doubt the transfers are still viable.
I'll have a look at them tomorrow.

However, try these.

If the Heller F-8 comes with them, and I'm sure it MUST do being made in France, I've got some somewhere.

But, and it's a big but, Heller decals of the period aren't exactly of the highest quality....................

I've got a sheet of Aeronavale roundels, made by Decals Carpena. A bit thick, and don't stick well, but if you need some just let me know the exact diameter you need and I'll check.

Super Entendard sheets seem more plentiful and may work for you.

I had a look in the Hasegawa box.
No transfers.  But there does seem to be parts for two kits in there.

I think I have a couple of F-8's with those decals and as I am going through all my stash cataloguing it I should find them at some point. If I find two sets then one is yours.

Chris,
I have located and removed from the box a set of ESCI F-8 E (FN) decals which you are welcome to as these are surplus to requirements

Thanks for looking lads.

Ratty. I've loads of French AF and Navy roundels for all periods but just haven't got any appropriate unit markings and codes etc. Loads of pre-War and Vichy, but none latter.

Gondor - PM on the way, thank you
