Might be worth having a think about an early Hunter - F1-F5?  You already have the straight wing in the P1099, you just need the small bore jetpipe.

Have a word with Paul Lucas - he did an early Hunter conversion so the jetpipe there may fit the Revell.

I've a... erm, clone of said conversion and it'd need work to fit the Revell kit. However, John Adams did a resin conversion so a word with him could be fruitful.

Hi Wooksta,

I already do an F4 conversion for the Revell kit but its out of stock at the moment. It was a rework of the Model Alliance set Paul did for them (Paul's master), but for my one he hollowed out the plug (to reduce shrinkage) with a new u/c chucked in. We never got around to hollowing out the F5 fuselage plug so maybe I should (it has a different vent layout to the F1/4).

I have one of the Aeroclub ones in the stash and the jet pipe is much smaller than Paul's one.

Right.  Stick me down for a couple if and when you get round to redoing it, along with a pair of P.1099 Firestreak Hunters.
