BAE Hawk 100/200

Found a bit of a difference with my Hawk kits. It looks as if both the Hawk 100 and Hawk 200 may have a different contour to the top of the exhaust just below the rear fins. To me it makes no sense and I have not been able to definitively prove one way or another through photographs if it exists or if it is caused by shadows in the area and/or the addition of the small fixed fin in front of the tailplanes. Both the Airfix and Italeri Hawk 100 kits have this bulge and I would love to find out if they are right or wrong so I can take appropriate action or inaction.
