Talks were held in the 1970s about converting the Breguet Br.1150 Atlantic ATL1 into an AEW & C variant, replacing the two Rolls-Royce Tyne turboprop engines with a pair of turbofans and using the Grumman E-2 Hawkeye rotodome with the avionics of the time.
I'm in the process of building my own interpretation of this design using the Mach2 kit with some spare parts. The rotodome from a 1/72 Grumman Hawkeye kit fits on top of the vertical tail fin of the Mach2 Breguet Atlantic model, I haven't glued the radar bin,M.A.D. boom or fitted the landing gear or any of the glazed parts yet. There's still PSR to do first.
