When the aircraft backs up prior to take-off, you can see the tail ramp opening and a loadmaster acting as banksman to ensure they don't reverse over anything unpleasant.    Interesting piece of video!

The RAF have made very good use of the lockdown to practice all sorts of interesting things. I'm 11 miles from Edinburgh airport and we've watched A400s, C17s, Hercules and even Typhoons on approach.

A remarkably short roll out after the touch down I thought. 

And while the rest of an A400 looks quite nice, the 'designer' of the engine nacelles should be SHOT!  They have to be the UGLIEST nacelles ever made!

(Perhaps a longer fuselage would improve the A400 though, a sort of A400B, a la the C-141B....  )

When I worked at YYC I had a front seat view of the RAF C-17's when they came and used either Apron 2 or 9 to offload (where I worked watching constructors doing panel replacement) . They usually parked nose to the warehouse buildings, but the pilots used like showing off by not using the tow tugs for the push-back and reverse out of their slot.

Hmm! I'll have to give my tin-foil hat a look at, you seem to have got through the security screen --- I've got a plan on doing just that with all the spare parts I have left over from the two 1/72 A400 kits that have donated bits to other projects.

When 47 Sqdn converted to Beverleys at Abingdon in the mid '50s the aircraft were too big for the existing hangars, so they started building new ones. In the meanwhile they did the servicing with the noses and forward fuselages inside enormous tents that were erected right alongside our kids playground, so we got grandstand views of everything going on.

Then the crews realised that the reverse thrust capability of the four Centauruses (Centaurii?) could perhaps be used the same way those C-17s do today. So they tried backing out of the 'tent hangars' one day..................

The back draught blew the whole massive tent assembly over the wall and into our playground! 

It took some days to sort out that mess, and they didn't try it again, at least not from the 'tent hangar' park anyway.
