Kawasaki Ki 61 Tony  under construction, but carrying either  ATAIU-SEA markings, or possibly  Fleet Air Arm "prise de guerre" .   I don't need some parts, which are offered on the Sales/Wants thread as FREE to good home.

Come to think of it, it could also be finished as the hack aircraft of Flag officer, BPF aircraft carriers for jaunts between Hong Kong (UK base)  and  British Commonwealth Occupation Force (BCOF)at Kure near Hiroshima, via Taiwan, Okinawa etc. .  In that case it would need the appropriate senior officer's pennant applied  below the cockpit.  Very few people know about BCOF, an Indian acquaintance of mine's grandfather was an officer in 268th Indian Infantry Brigade  that formed part of this deployment

Will that be a Ki-61 with Merlin engine (like the Bf-109 becoming Buchon, like the G-55 becoming G-59)? ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Possibly.    I'd assumed that the DB 601 clone would remain in the airframe as it's only a hack aircraft.
