The Avro Lincaster is the stopgap between the Avro Lancaster and the Lincoln.
I'm using the 1/72 Contrail A.V.Roe Lincoln B.1 fuselage with the Airfix Avro Lancaster B.I/III the one taken from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight but with the wrong exhaust covers, these are covered.
Both kits were secondhand with parts missing hence the kitbash and the Lancaster was partly started.
This build hasn't got any guns at the moment. The tail fairing is from a resin Wellington transport conversion set,  the tail,  wings,  engines,  landing gear and cockpit are taken from the Airfix kit. The cockpit canopy is non-standard and so too is the ventral radome.
It's my fourth attempt to mix vacform with plastic,  this might have the bicycle landing gear layout due to the ground clearance of the radome.

Sounds interesting - good luck!  :)

Where am I going?  And why am I in a handbasket?

I've added the retractable radar from the Airfix Avro Shackleton MR.2 and started PSR.
