The Hawker Blizzard

The Hawker Blizzard was a private venture which slightly pre dated the Hurricane. Unlike the technically advanced with its fancy pant's  mono plane, the Blizzard stuck to good old fashioned and well know biplane and open cockpit construction with a fixed undercarriage so the pilot chappie didn't have to fiddle around in the cockpit trying to find the thing that put the wheels down so he could land!
Needless to say that the board at Hawkers went with the Hurricane design and the Blizzard was left on the drawing board until now!

Or at least sometime this decade knowing my rate at compleating projects

I will, just "modified" a bit

Modification have been ongoing. Plastic has been both cut and glued together.

The upper wing has been modified and the resultant area where the fuselage would have been has had some material fitted to help reduce the amount of filler that will be required 

There is a bit of a gap behind the piolet at the moment, but saying that only one part has been added to the cockpit area as some painting will be required first. What was behind the piolet will now be transfered to a Defiant to make the single seat fighter variant so there will be no waste there!
