Yeah, Sister loved X-files to bits and pieces, but even back then the 'Dark Conspiracy(s)' really peeved me off and I wasn't ever a fan.

Now Tremors, on the other hand... good TV series and I am still trying to work my way through the movies.
Still annoyed they pulled the new series just as everything was ready to go!

Ever watch Lexx Brad C?

Never did! I remember it being around but I might not have had it on my cable or whatever. I wonder if it is on one of the streaming places?

All them conspiracies drove me nuts. I gave up on trying to keep track of it all....... and..... the truth of the matter is none of it made any sense anyway and they were making it all up as they went along and readily admitted that it was a mess.  ;D

Haven't seen the Tremors show....   The first two movies are pretty damn good but all the ones after that were cheap crap and I just assumed the series would be, too, but I'll give it a shot.

It's worth a look, IMO. It's very much 'Monster of the Week', but given that, it's still fun.
It depends what you're expecting: Epic? Not even close... A Fun way to spend 40 minutes or so each time? I think so.
The characters even get fleshed out a bit over the course of the series, so that's nice.
And no 'Big Reset Button' at the end of each show.

I didn't mind Movie 3, and #4 the Prequel was ok for setting up some of the later town denizens.

Haven't watched #s 5-7 yet, but they're on my list.

"Ah, Burt, Man - I really liked that Truck!"

Hmmm!! This prequel sounds interesting. I would like to check that out. The towns folks were all pretty interesting and I especially like the gun nuts people. I would like a set up like how they had their house and all their guns.

In other news, I've found good leads on where to watch both Lexx and the Tremors tv show.
