As you know,  there was more than one Batmobile built for the TV series. Some may have been just used for stunt work or used to mount the cameras during filming.
Another Whiffer has demilitarised his Batmobile, so what if one of the stunt cars was abandoned and the Joker or the Riddler got their hands on it?
I have a badly cast resin 1/24 or 1/25 1955 Batmobile. From the parts that I have found; the solid tyres , body and floor plan. It seems as if the familiar bat tail fins have been removed. The body looks as though it's been shot at by a twelve boar shotgun as there's pinholes all over the place.
A raid in the spares boxes should provide the seats,  dashboard,  windscreen and exhaust pipes.
Another thought is to spray it pink and have the number plate FAB 1 or Knight Industries KITT.

Have you any more thoughts on this, it seems a lot of work but could be very rewarding to build. I have a couple of Shelf Queens like that one down (very happy to get that done) and one in progress slowly.

Combine the ideas; interior and the little LED thingy on the front, paint it pink number plate KITTY and KITT has a girlfriend. Then a Smart Car version for a Happy Family.

KITT always sounded to me like he would have preferred the company of other male cars, if you get my drift... ;)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Well there was evil KITT and I believe in a faily recent series KITT was an old Jaguar.  I'll definitely have a rummage in the spares boxes and see what parts I have before I make up my mind.
