As I suspected, and it looks SUPERB in the Gold Leaf scheme.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

But why 362?

You seem quite fascinated by the number Kit. The answer is very down to earth:
It was in a set of decals I had lying around and the red number went rather well with the airframe colour.
No more than that  ;D ;D

I LOVE it, pure Whiff thinking!

Yes, I find race numbers fascinating, so many different reasons for picking them.

Lewis Hamilton's '44' was because that was the number of the first kart he won a race driving, Stirling Moss's '7' was simply because it was his lucky number, the Ferrari team leader used to carry '27' in memory of the late,  great Gilles Villeneuve etc.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I love these! The Saab looks great in these colours.
