Can't go wrong with green and with gold boiler bands.

Er......boiler?  :-\

I have some cream and brown paint too which I think was either GWR coaches or Pullman or both I'm not sure .

PR19_Kit

Both, at different times, and very smart they looked too.

A GWR Hawksworth BCK coach.

A standard Pullman saloon coach.

That bottom photo reminds me of the old Brighton Belle

There's a good reason for that, the 'Belle' was an all-Pullman train and was painted in that scheme too.

Did you know they're re-building the 'Belle' and plan to put it back into service as a charter train?  See here :-

I used to see the old "Belle" quite a lot on it's wat to Brighton, never got to ride in it though.

I was aware that there were plans to bring her back, and hope they succeed, but there have been a few such plans over the years  :-\

This one's really happening, all the coaches they have are the originals, and the motor cars actually run now too. Before Covid they were planning to run it in service this Autumn, but that's been put back now of course.

Totally assumed the wrong thing when I saw the title of this thread.  Still, a good colour scheme for a Hawker product!

Great idea,  the cream and brown scheme is what I have in mind for my 00 Triang Midland Blue Pullman; power car, dummy power car and 2nd class carriage.

Hmmmm... a Spitfire in Apple green or garter blue.... ;D

Pretty sure a Spitfire would have to be in Malachite or Middle Chrome Green wouldn't it?  ;) Was gonna mention the BP Defiant but that would end up in LNWR black so not much different to real ones.

Garter Blue Mossies would work!
