Title says it all. Need 1 bloody propeller, because somehow the prop from my modified Kilo popped off and disappeared.

A specific prop, or just a generic one?   If it's a modified Kilo you may get away with a non-standard prop................."Didn't you know about the trials hull that was built??"  is a good line to take.

Generic, as the sub is now the Finnish one I shared, lol. But trying to avoid PE, yet in my FB group that's all I'm getting recommended

OK, I might possibly have something that will do, but it would be in the deep stash in the back of the garage.   I'm not in a position to look immediately, but I'll go ratching about tomorrow and see if I can find an appropriate prop for you.  I THINK  there's a 1:700 submarine kit in there......somewhere.   If I do find it, you can have it free, gratis and for nothing.

ratching about   archaic Cumbrian dialect phrase  implying random and irregular searching

Further bulletin:-  I've dug around in the deep stash in the back of the garage, and found all sorts of curious odds and ends but NO  SUBMARINE PROPELLOR.    I've found  a half-built submarine that I was given, but the  chap who started it had cut it down to a waterline model. It's a 1:350  U boat of uncertain origin  mounted in a "sea" of polyfilla  that needs a paint job.    Sorry I can't be of any more use to you!

Thanks for ratching about, Rheged!

Obviously the missing prop was due to the Toshiba/Kongsberg scandal back in the 1980's where they secretly sold the Soviets high tech gear that allowed them to design and mill much quieter screws.  The CIA likely went into Murmansk on a cold winter night and took the screw to ascertain the characteristics of this game changing design....or it was a the carpet monster......

I have props from all sorts of 1/700 ships, but mainly surface ones. What diameter are you looking for, and do you absolutely need a swept rather than a paddle blade prop? If I have anything suitable, it would be my honour to send it for free.

I would need a rather rapid response though as I'm due to report for next surgery tomorrow afternoon.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Thank you! The type of prop doesn't matter to me, nor does the diameter. A 5+ blade will work, while a swept blade would be great, I believe this model came with a paddle blade, and the bigger the diameter the better, so a screw from a destroyer or cruiser maybe?
