It's not the Dynavert CL-84-8

The Airfix model of the Lockheed Martin S-3A Viking look to me as if the twin turbofaned engines could be replaced with a pair of turboprops and a triple tail made from the A-10 Thunderbolt II. Various combinations could be whiffed:
ASW
Tanker
AEW
ELINT
COD
Transporter
Or feeder airliner.

It's not my version of the General Dynamics Model 84 Surveillance Aircraft proposed in 1971, know as the CL-84-8 or Dynavert.
In my opinion this looks more like the Grumman E-1 Tracer with turboprop engines and a shorter wing, the rotodome looks similar to the E-2 Hawkeye.
If I had known that this concept existed then my 1/72 Mach2  E-1 donor would have been an ideal starting point,  I had the other parts in the stash.
Just found out that the Dynavert had VTOL capabilities so the tilting wing might interfere with the rotodome  in the AEW configuration and that you can get the kit model,  although a kitbash build means that you can alter the design to suit your spare parts bin.
