All done!  A busier than expected week dragged it out a few extra days.  Definitely not my best effort but overall I'm happy with the result.  It's my first biz jet since building an Airfix Dominie when I was a kit I think. 

My plan was to have the door open, but it really didn't want to be coaxed open so rather than risk damaging the paint around it I decided to leave it closed.  THere's not much to see anyway.   The white is Tamiya Pure White from a rattle can, the blue is a mix of Vallejo Signal Blue and Deep Sky mixed to match the roundel blue as close as I could eyeball it.  Topcoat finish is Tamiya Semi-Gloss clear.  Wing and tail anti-ice areas and the windshield frame are bare metal foil, nacelle anti-ice lips were done with a Molotov chrome pen.   Virtually no weathering other than a light wash on the landing gear since she would be kept nice and clean for the Top Brass.

Lovely.  That's a really simple, but effective paint scheme.  And excellent shade of blue.

I liked this when I first saw it completed, and each time I revisit it just manages to look ever better 

As Zenrat says, excellent shade of blue, and it inspires me to just want to replicate the scheme on the next suitable available kit in my stash!

The RW Jetstreams that the FAA flew used that same blue, but in a broad stripe. A VERY smart looking aeroplane.

Yes, that's the idea, but taking it further using only the blue and white to match the AeroplaneDriver's "Admiral's Barge" scheme, after all they would've needed something BEFORE the Learjet was captured
