The aircraft  is wearing a new colour scheme  that the navy  is testing  out too.

But the Navalized Super-STOL Jaguar (here in French markings) with the lift jet and the deflected exhaust was deemed a better option, as they did not require the refurbishment of the very tired, and labor-intensive, catapults and arresting gear of the Ark Royal.....
