Tell me about it! I was seriously tempted, but the thought having to reproduce more of those corrugated wing radiators put me right off the idea.

The lack of span on such a long fuselaged aeroplane has a certain appeal though, I must admit.

Not sure where I first saw it. Now I can only find the pic on Pinterest.

The missing component arrived today, but it's made of METAL so it'll take some serious engineering to make it work. I'm on it though.......  ;)

Hehehe, no! It's a purely visual bit of Whiffery, but it'll take a while to do as I'm concentrating on my two 'Captured' GB entries at the moment.

Evidently the clutch/gearbox for the air-propeller worked, the problems were in the
water-propeller drive and there was no access to the clutch/gearbox, so trying to fix
the problems wasn't feasible without major work.
