By my calculations that is around 100mm long.

Wow.

Good job.

Close, 105mm. Good eye, Fred.

Edit: Now a smidge longer with the new prop, lol!

Very nice work! Difficult to make a modern submarine look interesting but you've pulled it off.

Indeed

Nice work.

1/700 subs are tiny.  I remember buying my first few modern subs (SkyWave @1980) and being a bit disappointed how small they were, and cost per parts count was quite high. You could build one in about 4 minutes....if you didn't glue the periscopes mast to your fingers....

I just wonder where it would be operated. Much of the likely operational area is pretty shallow, especially the Archipelago Sea. So, craft with less draught are mainly used above the surface too.

Update: When I moved back in late September, the prop got broken off and lost shortly after unpacking had started. I shoved it away in my desk drawer and forgot about it. Fast forward several months, and I decided to start looking for a prop. Pellson wonderfully came to my rescue and provided several props for the sub. I picked out my favorite and proceeded to attach it. It's now painted and ready to be displayed again. Pictures to follow.

Sweet! That prop pack moved swiftly!  And it looks GOOD!

As I told ya - my pleasure! 😉
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!
