That's going to take up a LOT of shelf space Chris!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It certainly  is, I  am trying to think of a way to have the  wings come off too for when I eventually  move  house, as it won't fit in any  boxes I have

I saw that Hinomaru and my first thought was "well the Japanese had a few six engine'd giants", then saw the name Avro. Tad distracted today  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Could you re-jigger the Shack's wing boxes and spar onto the new centre section? They're a pretty tight fit and as strong as an ox, so you could plug the wings on and off as desired perhaps?

I will look into that Kit, cheers.
Chris, this is of sorts, a prequel to the  Shackleton in my wiffverse, and a sort of U.K version of a  B-36 , but in case ww2  went on longer, and took another  path, ie the RAF had to go into  Soviet  territory.
