This is not a fake, it's a special vehicle for Shanghai with lots of underground mortorways!

I wouldn't have believed it but...  ;D
There are 3 of these Janus trucks at Mont Blanc https://jalopnik.com/the-tragic-story-of-why-this-two-headed-fire-truck-is-s-1683279098

In the Channel Tunnel, these vehicles are used for maintenance and firefighting:

they're also doubleheaded.

Obviously the British end as it's right hand drive, t'other end is left hand  ;) ;D

A blue light story you may have missed; anyone care to make a diorama out of it?

It might just work as a JMN boggling exercise.

I think I may be in with an aircraft. Today I was tidying the stash a bit and picked up the Mitsubishi MU-2S from Hasegawa. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-b16-mitsubishi-mu-2s--1021261

It would be ideal for a UK based SAR bird, possibly RNLI. Air dropped inflatable life boats are quite possible.
The decal sheet is yellowed and faded beyond hope so new markings would be needed anyway.

I also have this Ford GT90 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/amt-ertl-8381-ford-gt-90--1018924  which will work just fine with some US Police markings as some kind of high speed chase vehicle. Looks cool any way!

This is going to be a very difficult GB to vote in, the standard is exceptional

That's AMAZING!

I've watched them do that net recovery business at Lyme Bay, but that was in really good conditions and it must have been relatively easy, but in the sea state in vid it must have been horrendous.  :o

A superb job.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I know there's very little time left, but here is an RNLI  video of  a rescue involving a quite amazing tractor as launch recovery vehicle

You can also take it as my entry in today's  "Is this the longest link"  competition!!

That certainly looked like a rough sea there. I have every respect for the RNLI as they choose to go out and save lives in such conditions.

FYI - If a web address seems excessively long, look for the question mark. Delete that and everything after it and the link will still work.

All the junk on the end is how firms and charities measure how far their message has spread by which means. It's also how adverts suddenly start to match your interests as websites track what you do.

god bless and god speed to all RNLI crew

always think of those that go towards the danger as we are running away
