Magnificent build (as usual) etc etc. But the subject really leaves me cold.
To be honest, that annoys me becauseI feel I should be more excited just by seeing this kind of quality work.  :-\
You'll have to excuse me, Thomas, I will drool over your other models instead, despite the excellent performance with this one.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

The dogs philosophy on life.
If you cant eat it hump it or fight it,
Pee on it and walk away!!

Thanks a lot, everyone. It's admittedly a rather "dry" model/aircraft, but the J9N two-seater has been staring at me from the pile for yome years now, time that I tackled it. And the result looks quite good - not exciting, but rather a subtle "whif that could have been".  ;)

Very nice. I'm sure I read that the 262 lost about 35mph due to the antenna array. Neat, plausible whif.

I wonder if a Kikka night fighter would have taken off at all! Maybe with RATOs, which were actually tested on early prototypes as mentioned in the background. The engines were weak, the second crew member ate up the fuselage fuel and added weight, an optional drop tank would have added more drag to the already draggy antennae - I have serious doubts about the aircraft's effectivity! But this is whifworld, after all...
