Finished my Iron Eagle F-16A.

Built with the old Hasegawa 1/48 F-16A kit, Kinetic Sidewinders and Mavericks and painted with Gunze Sangyo (Mr. Hobby Color) paints.

Nice. Underside views of the F-16 are a constant reminder of how much they can actually lug around.

That looks really sharp!

But in the movie they carried more: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/19811/a-definitive-audit-of-how-many-weapons-doug-masters-launched-from-his-f-16-in-iron-eagle

Nice paint.  And really crisp photos.  Well done.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Come out really well Chris

Does look very nice but proper camo (especially Israeli camo) does have that effect of turning a Yawn Dart into a Porn Dart! ;D

The movie doesn't show the proper loadout, but loading a F-16 with four 'Winders (stations 1-2-8-9), two Mavericks (stations 3 & 7), 12 x Mk82 on MER's (stations 4 & 6) and an "area denial munition" on centreline (say, BLU-27, "napalm" was apparently a four-letter word post-Vietnam) should be actually possible loadout and enable the plane to do all the shooting and still have the stated two 'Winders and two bombs left for the final engagement (one "extra" 'Winder probably lost to editing). Quick math comes to 4 x 200 + 2 x 650 + 12 x 500 + 750 pounds = 8850 pounds plus whatever the pylons weigh. He could have even had LAU-88 rails for six Mavericks (which are actually shown, while bombs aren't) instead of two on stations 3 & 7 for maximum overkill, because even the A model could carry 15000+ pounds...
