Well, as an SPAAG the vehicle will not engage in direct tank-to-tank battle, so that the lightest chassis that offers decent crew protetction and mobility that can keep up with the mobile troops will suffice. I went for the T-62 here because I assumed that a fully armored turret with two guns, the ammo and the radar system would be quite heavy, and using an MBT basis would be a no-brainer, esp. when you tactically put the SPAAG in close connection with MBT groups. A lighter chassis would have been plausible, too (see the Shilka and the later Tunguska systems).
