looking in the stash, i found the perfect kit to build in the short time and limited free time i have.

i have a pair of KP 1/72 SF.260 marchetti's in the stash and had no idea what to do with the turboprop versions.
i suddenly got an idea today after seeing an old Focke-Wulf/Piaggio FWP.149D fly over, these aircraft were retired from West-German Luftwaffe service in 1990 and the training was outsourced following budget cuts after the reunion of East- and West-Germany.

but what if they did find a replacement for the old P.149's? so i sourced some decals from the sparesbox and the kit is now ready to start when the GB begins.

as for color scheme, i was thinking Wiite/Dayglo at first, but now im concidering the grey/green camo that was applied to the Piaggio's.

and i will be applying that scheme to this kit:

on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Interested to see how this goes Nils. Might give me an idea to what KP's forthcoming Tempests Mk II's will be like build wise.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The TP nose is smaller than the piston nose, so l will be interested to see how you go add the weight to prevent tail sitting.
Whatever.
