I came across 1/25 Jimmy Flintstone resin car bodies on eBay and I guess if you matched the model kits up you could make the model of your choice.
On the other hand I'm thinking along the lines of the Revell 1/25 Black London Taxi  FX-4,  there were a few conversions to make the Austin FX-4 into something more commercial like a box van or a hearse.
I did try and go down the Rat Rod route by cutting the roof off the rear and moving it forward. The first stage gave me a bigger boot/trunk but I moved this further forward and filled in the rear passenger doors so it looked like a Ford Coupe of yesteryear. The plan was to flare the wheel arches and drop the roof line,  changing the wheels,  then dropping a V8 engine into the bonnet/hood,  using paints to imitate the rust.
In the end I used hot rod parts from a 'spares or repairs ' 34' Ford Coupe and the side exhaust pipes from the Matchbox Ford Capri II kit. I never got to finish this so a few more FX-4 taxi kits will be purchased.
I will need to sort out my car kits from the stash and see what parts I have or if I can build a whole car.
I've seen a few donor car bodies that I can use with my collection of 1/24 or 1/25 Ford Capri 'European ' style kits.
I still intend to build the Triumph Lynx,  I got as far as buying two TR7 kits. One white and the other red which I managed to graft the hatchback of a Dodge Cobra to. I didn't see this when I packed away my stash only the white one. Prices for the 1/25 TR7 are very expensive at the moment.
The Rolls-Royce Ute needs a suitable paint scheme although a woodie finish would be more in keeping as it has a rear wooden decking in the back.
I may even have a go at the Zoomerang Testors kits. I have found the body shells for the Chrysler PT Cruiser,  slammed and panel van. So a few donor kits or diecast vehicles will be sourced.
Other ideas include the Jaguar Lynx Eventer panel van and the ambitious Jaguar E-type saloon which won't be using the Jaguar Mk2 parts as they don't fit. Although I think that I can use the Morris Traveller in a kitbash with the Jaguar Mk2. Mk2 front end,  Traveller rear end.
