Focke Wulf FW-189 in Norway

I'm trying a long shot here.

After the war the Norwegians flew four FW-189s. One of them was called "The Green Man" after the pub where the Norwegians spent a lot of time during their war in the UK. I have one photo of her but there are supposed to be more. I tried searching and I wrote the Norwegian IPMS but got nowhere.

Does anyone here know more? I trying to build The Green Man in 1/48.

Thread drift I know, but 'The Green Man'?

Is it the one on the A45 just west of Silverstone? It's now a Premier Inn but in the 50s and 60s it used to be the watering hole used by many of the racing drivers of the time. I stayed there once, in the late 70s, and it had LOADS of autographed pics of the drivers and their cars on the wall, a fascinating place.

The title reads Normay and the text speaks of Norwegians, is this a mistyping in the title for Norway? or some joke that I did not know?

Focke Wulf FW-189 in Norway



After the war, the Norwegian Air Force used four captured Focke Wulf FW-189 aircraft in 1945. The aircraft were retired in 1946 and scrapped.
One of the aircraft bore the name "The Green Man", named after a pub near North Weald where the Norwegian Air Force personnel based in the UK during the war liked to spend their free time.
