I couldn't begin to build something that tiny!

Nor can I, but I'm going to have to, one day, as I have one aircraft carrier, a LHD & a Dreadnought carrier conversion I have yet to build in 1/350 ... & you can't have aircraft carriers without aircraft on the decks!

You probably could if it was left to the Planning Department at the Admiralty.

Yes, well, the RAN's Admirals can make some pretty stupid decisions (under pressure from politicians to keep costs down) but not, generally, that bad!

1/350 aircraft aren't that bad. They are easy to paint, for one thing. The hardest part (if you're building a Trumpeter kit) is the annoying clear plastic that they use for everything.

If you want absolutely insane details... White Ensign Models makes a 1/350 PE cockpit set for the Trumpeter B-25

I'll admit that I have it. After major surgery to the Trumpeter kit and much cursing... you can't see a thing of the built interior.

I especially like the thing that the model pictures are all fuzzy but much clear when it is in the palm...
