The Wooksta!

I'm currently after some Lightning wreckage, specifically T-birds. Fuselage comprising nose and canopy. Gash Matchbox preferably, but I'd take an Air model factory nose.

Annoyingly, I know I have the latter somewhere, but can I remember where? Can I fairycakes. See also the box of built up Lightnings that could be cannibalised.

Also on the lookout for an unbuilt Heller Sabre. I'm not paying the prices on eBay for a base donor kit. Bagged would do. Decals not required, just want the plastic.

Having located the box of Lightning wrecks, I've located an Aeroclub one that will be the candidate for surgery.  The T5 looked to be salvageable.

Still on the lookout for a Heller Sabre.

Kitbasher has sorted out my need for a Heller Sabre.

Currently after a quantity of Firestreak and Red Top missiles, but I'm only interested in the ones from the Airfix Lightning. F2A/F6. If anyone has any spare I'll happily take them offf your hands.

I can sort you out with some of these Wooksta. Are you going to SMW2021? Delivery there will cut costs.

I'll be at SMW but annoyingly need said lethality for the stuff I'm building for SMW.  I can recompense for any postage costs at SMW if that helps.

I've got some too Lee, I'll have a count up when I get home tomorrow.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I will dig them out Wooksta.

Many thanks.

And handing over postage monies at Telford means an extra few Bob to spend on things there.

Cancell the request for Airfix Firestreaks and Red Tops.  Afetr getting hold of the Freightdog ones, I'll be using these exclusively.

Who did the 72nd Blue Water missiles?  Are they still available?

I'm on the hunt for a Matchbox Grumman Panther. Not quite sure until I get one to drop over the plans but it may be a good basis for a DH 116 "Super Venom"

Scrub the Panther.  Waste of time.

Having looked at the drawings for the earlier version of the Hawker P.1103, I'm keen to find either the Lindberg or Nichimo Hawker Hunter in 48th.  Failing that, a wrecked Academy/Italeri one would do.

Here's a Lindbergh Hunter in Tamworth.

I built this kit a very long time ago, one of the '60s boxings, the "operating" ejection seat
was fun.

Sorry to say but you can't have the Academy one I have, that's slated to become a 2 seat P.1121.... sometime....

Having blown up the plans in Overscan's book on the type, the two seat P.1121 is much easier to do from the Maintrack/Whirlybird kit.  Having acquired a Lindberg Hunter kit, the only thing it may be useful for is an 1129 wing after some surgery and sanding.  And maybe a generic big jet engine.

Currently looking for Heller Mirage IV intakes and the shock cones for various HSA and BAC projects.
