Not where yellow and red are concerned, though. Pretty much all red and yellow paints cover poorly to some degree or other, regardless of type of paint, manufacturer, intended use, etc.

Not so dude ..ive painted railway wagons with red oxide. paint..one coat and it's a solid coverage..second coat for strength.
I've even painted it with a brush on repairs ..still covers great.

Well yeah, that's red lead paint, and one of the exceptions — but not recommended for use anymore because it's toxic and causes lead pollution. Try getting more common, regular red or yellow paints to cover in one go, though.

Well maybe lead where your at but there's been zero lead in our paint for over 30yrs..it's law here.
The stuff I sprayed is totally lead free ...
