Makes sense to raise the pilot a bit higher than in the Model 100 Racer. The three bladed contraprops suggest that there is more power in the two engines than in the Racer. My guess is the airframe is larger too.

Even if the pilot is higher, it seems there is no room enough under him (or her) to install the 2 engines: the exhaust pipes are asymmetrically positioned like on the racer, with starboard ones more in front than port ones. Interesting as unusual. ;)

There's two engines behind the pilot, like on the Model 100 which had two straight 8 engines, each turning one of the propellers.
